We Give Back!

Comfort for Veterans.

The Thermal Envelope Company in conjunction with M.A.D. (Make A Difference) Survival Gear provides bivy bags to homeless veterans around the country. The Thermal Envelope Company supplies materials to M.A.D. for assembly.

For every bivy bag sold, M.A.D. Survival Gear will give a bivy bag to a homeless vet in need.

Homeless veterans tend to experience homelessness longer than their non-veteran peers spending an average of nearly six years homeless, compared to four years among non-veterans. Veterans between the ages of 18 and 30 are twice as likely as adults in the general population to be homeless. Bivys will provide these veterans experiencing homelessness with the extra warmth they need to survive cold nights.
